Obituary: Anne Pasco, 76, Of Stratford

STRATFORD, CT — (From Pistey Funeral Home): Anne Pasco, 76, died suddenly in her home, located in her beloved Lordship. She was the wife of Frederick Pasco and the mother of Andrew Pasco and Greg Pasco.

She was born with a fierce sense of pride of her Ukrainian heritage and modeled that spirit just as the Ukrainian people valiantly battle today for their homeland.

She was a problem solver. She ran AT troubling issues rather than away. Many of her friends thought of her as a "womens' woman" She was about justice. She lived it and taught it. As president of the Fairfield Education Association where, she advocated for her colleagues.

She is also survived by her brothers Bohdan and Paul Dmytrasz.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Peace Church, 651 Stratford Rd., Stratford. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital www.stjude.org.
