Obituary: Arshley Noela Lazarre, 26, Of Stratford

Arshley Noela Lazarre, 26, passed away on February 16th, 2018 in Miami, Florida at Jackson Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. She courageously fought this illness for 14 years and never once lost her hope and joyful spirit.

Arshley was the daughter of Louis-Marc and Marie Lazarre and was born on December 25th, 1991 in Stamford, Connecticut. She was a graduate of Bunnell High School and attended Gateway Community College.

Arshley was very passionate about school and always dreamed of a future of becoming a lawyer and had plans to succeed in this dream. She was very smart, well spoken, and articulated. She always wanted to be a role model for her younger siblings and even continued to push them to be and do their best throughout her illness.

Arshely is predeceased by her grandparents, Pierrina Fontilus Guerrier and Rigaud Lazarre. She is survived by her siblings, Louis-Marc Lazarre Jr., Aldine Lazarre, Eldine Lazarre, and Allyson Lazarre, her parents, Louis-Marc and Marie Lazarre, and her grandparents Nozier Geurrier and Alourves Lazarre. Arshley will be remembered by the Lazarre, Maxi, Guerrier, Chery, Lafalaise, Jeanis, Domon, Mattheu, Fontilus, Jean-Pierre, Adrien, Simplice, Cezaire, Milord, and Bazile families. Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Silliman Memorial Baptist Church on 1728 Fairfield Avenue, Bridgeport, Connecticut with refreshments following.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 9 am at Silliman Memorial Baptist Church on 1728 Fairfield Avenue, Bridgeport, Connecticut with a reception following. The resting site will be at Union Cemetery Association on 23 Temple Court, Stratford, Connecticut, 06615. Memorial contributions can be given to Dennis & D'Arcy - Abriola and Kelemen Funeral Home on 2611 Main Street, Stratford, CT, 06615, to be added to the Arshley Noela Lazarre Memorial Foundation which will be created in the near future.
