Obituary: Carla Jean Rozarie, 58; Formerly Of Stratford

Carla Jean Rozarie, 58, of Trumbull, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018. She was born to the late Edward C. Rozarie and Vera J. Kazee Rozarie on August 12, 1960.

Carla was a graduate of Stratford High school; her career included her first official job at First National Stores, unit secretary at Bridgeport Hospital. Carla was retired from the United States Postal Service, and was active in the USPS workers' union. She was well loved by all who survive her, had a generous soul and heart.

Family and friends were her passion and delight. Her love for football was legendary (#Patriots), she was an avid reader, and always ready for a good game of cards. We are thankful for the good company and care her friends from the Clubhouse extended to her.

Surviving her are siblings Gwen Ann Rozarie, Edwina Lucenius, Dirk Rozarie (Judith); nieces and nephews Lisa Eaton, Andrew Eaton, Gina Eaton, Emme Rozarie, Meghan Rozarie, Jeremiah Rozarie, Casey Rozarie; and the many children she saw as her own throughout her life.

The family will be at The Historic William Perry House (1128 West Broad Street, Stratford, CT) on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. for those who wish to pay their respects.
