Obituary: Carol M. Makusevich, 67, of Stratford

Carol “Candy” Mottram Makusevich, 67, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late John Makusevich Jr, passed away on September 9, 2017 in Bridgeport Hospital.

Carol was born on June 14, 1950 in Port Huron, Michigan to the late Harry and Mildred (Jones) Mottram and has been a long time area resident. She was a graduate of Bunnell High School and was retired from Sodexo.

Survivors include her devoted children, Lynette Westerlund and her husband George of Florida, Nicole Makusevich and her companion Scott Bradley, and Jonathan Makusevich all of Stratford, 3 cherished grandchildren, Rachel and Joshua Pacenti and Christian Bradley, a brother, Harry Mottram of Shelton, and her lifelong friend, Patty Ferrarese of Southbury. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, September 14th at 11 a.m. in The Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford with Rev. Paul Jacobson officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Stratford.
