Obituary: Christopher M. Ebert, 37; Former Stratford Resident

Christopher Michael Ebert, 37, of Long Island and previously of Stratford, beloved partner of Renee Harvey, devoted father of Brianna Ebert and son of John and Jane (Price) Ebert, passed away suddenly Thursday, May 4, 2017 Greenport, Long Island. Chris was born August 30, 1979 in Norwalk, CT and had been a lifetime area resident until his recent move to Long Island to be with Renee.

He was employed as a cook and enjoyed fishing, was a lover of animals and was an accomplished artist.

Survivors, in addition to Renee, Brianna, and parents, include his two brothers, Kevin J. Ebert and his partner Lani Rodriguez and Daniel J. Ebert all of Stratford; one nephew, Gabriel; and one niece, Karlie.

He was predeceased by his brother John.

Friends are invited to attend his funeral service celebrated by Deacon Timothy Bolton on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford. Interment will be private. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday before service time from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Chris's memory to the funeral home to help the family defray funeral expenses.
