Obituary: Daniel James Gillespy, 22, Of Stratford

STRATFORD, CT — (From Adzima Funeral Home): Daniel James Gillespy “Danny,” 22, of Stratford, tragically entered eternal rest May 14, 2023.

Danny was born in Bridgeport on April 3, 2001, beloved son also known as the “Golden Child” of Sara Mulkern.

He was an employee of Stewart Amusements. Danny had a big heart with an even bigger smile and personality. He was very protective of everyone he loved. He could make anyone laugh with his contagious humor.

Danny had a passion for video games which he enjoyed playing with his brothers, cousin, and friends. His son Jaxson was his pride and joy, the second Danny became a father he began to better himself and his life for his son.

Losing Danny has left a hole in so many hearts. His memory will live on forever, until we meet again.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his cherished son, Jaxson Charles Gillespy, sister, Danielle Tomassiello, brothers, Christopher Mulkern, and Jesse and Austin Gillespy, uncle, Adam Mulkern and his wife Jillian, aunt, Noelle Mulkern, cousins, Elijah Mulkern, Alana Stasko, and Samantha and Lucas Mulkern as well as many more friends and family.
