Obituary: Eric D. Alston, 43, of Stratford

Eric D. Alston, 43, a lifelong resident of Stratford passed away suddenly on Monday, January 29, 2018 at his home. Born in Derby on January 27, 1975 he was the only son of Robert C. Alston of Stratford and the late Joan Tungseth Alston.

Eric was an avid reader and gamer and enjoyed collecting anything Star Wars. In addition to his father Robert, he is survived by his aunt, Mardel Stochmal and her husband James of Oxford, his cousin, Lucas Stochmal and his loving girlfriend Amy Thornhill.

The hours of visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 4 to 7 pm at Dennis & D’Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Sterling House, 2283 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06615.
