Obituary: Fe-Esperanza Azores, 62, Of Stratford

Fe was very musically inclined, loved to sing, paint and travel especially going on cruises.

Fe-Esperanza Azores, 62, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2018 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was surrounded by her loving family. Fe was born in the Philippines on January 15, 1955 to Juliana Oblea of Queens, NY and her late father, Segundo Azores, Sr.

Fe is survived by her husband, Bernardo Capuno, her daughters Chona (Eric) Baquero of Fort Lauderale, FL, Camille (Jose) Padilla of Stratford, CT, and her grandson Benjie. She is also survived by her sisters - Crisanta (Russ) Rockwell, Arline (Tony) Rueca, Lelet (Rintaro) Ishihara and her brother Jojo (Pat) Azores and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her youngest sister, Rose Azores.

Fe obtained her MBA degree in 2010 and was the Director of Talent Acquisition at New York Life Insurance Company for 13 years. Fe was very musically inclined, loved to sing, paint and travel especially going on cruises. She was a very devoted wife, a very loving mother and grandmother.

Friends may call on Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 12noon-3pm at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main St, Stratford. The funeral service will be celebrated at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate in her memory to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
