Obituary: Gail Pivarnik, 83, Of Stratford

STRATFORD, CT — (From Adzima Funeral Home): Gail Pivarnik, 83, of Stratford, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 7, 2023.

She is survived by her 3 children, Robert Pivarnik, Tracy Hazel and Lori (Bill) Rahrig, 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Joanne (Don) Newman and several nieces and nephews. Gail was predeceased by her husband Robert and her parents Joseph and Evelyn Williams.

Gail was a lifelong Stratford resident except for a few years she lived in Florida after retirement. She graduated from Lauralton Hall in Milford. Gail’s life was dedicated to caring for others. She was an EMT in Lordship and then went on to nursing school at the age of 50 to become an LPN working for the APT Foundation.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, March 10, from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford. Interment will be private.
