Obituary: Helen Felisko, 91, of Stratford

Helen Felisko, 91, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late George Felisko, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2019. Helen was born on March 27, 1927 in Bridgeport, CT to the late Albert and Helen Firmender.

Helen enjoyed times at Frankie’s Diner in Bridgeport with friends. She loved to bake and was especially known for her blueberry buckle.

Helen leaves behind her children, Ronnie, Glenn and Greg (Sherry); daughter-in-law, Darlene Reed; grandchildren, Amber, Justin and Brianna; great-grandchild, Teghan; sister, Doris (Joe) Gabriel; and many nieces and nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandsons, Jimmy and Nicholas; and siblings, Tommy Firmender and Bob (Lillian) Firmender.

Helen’s family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph’s Manor for their kind and compassionate care of Helen for the past five years.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
