Obituary: Jane G. Bradford Gagnon, 85, of Stratford

Jane G. Bradford Gagnon, 85, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Phillip Gagnon, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2018 in Lord Chamberlain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center with her loving family by her side.

Jane was born on September 26, 1932 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Edward and Cecila Isola Bradford. She was employed by Warner’s as an inspector for many years. Jane was an avid gardener, a beach lover, very kind and considerate and loved by everyone who met her.

Jane is survived by four children, Donna Simokat of Colorado, Bruce Wilson and Kelli Moller of Derby, Laura Caselli and husband Chuck of Stratford and Karen Gill and husband Frank of Stratford, eight grandchildren, Matthew, Katherine, Bruce Jr., Jared and wife Rebecca, Taylor, Kendra, Lydia and husband Jose and Travis and Amanda, nine great grandchildren, one sister-in-law, Mandy Bradford and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband, Phillip, Jane was also predeceased by five brothers and two sisters.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. The family wishes to thank the staff at Lord Chamberlain for their love and compassion.
