Obituary: John E. Haray, 44, of Stratford

John Ernest Haray, 44, of Stratford, passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at his home. Born in Bridgeport on December 28, 1972 he was a son of the late John Michael Haray and Virginia (Ginny) Mary Rinko Haray.

John was a mechanic and driver for Big Little Sanitation Co. He had a love for cars and motorcycles and was a member of the National T. Bucket Alliance. He was also an avid N.Y. Yankee and Pittsburg Steelers fan.

He is survived by his son, Tyler Haray of Stratford and his brother, Brian Haray and his wife Aimee of Stratford. He is also survived by his niece, Caitlyn Haray, nephew, Kyle Haray and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the Dennis & D’Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford. Interment will follow in Mt. Grove Cemetery of Easton.

Friends may greet the family on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to Swim Across the Sound, 2800 Main Street , Bridgeport , CT 06606
