Obituary: Justine D. Martin, 104, Formerly of Stratford

Justine D. Martin, 104, formerly of Stratford, died peacefully on Friday, December 14, 2018 at St. Joseph Manor in Trumbull. She was the widow of Stephen Martin.Mrs. Martin was born in Bridgeport to John and Anna (Zihala) Kubik.

During her stay at St. Joseph Manor, she enjoyed working in the gift shop. Attending Mass at the Manor was very important to her.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Collins of New Jersey and Cynthia Rahmlow and her husband, Tom, of Vermont; six grandchildren, David Ricci, Robert Ricci, Kristen Collins, Mark Collins, David Rahmlow and Rebecca Rahmlow; and three great-grandchildren, Claudia Ricci, Anthony Ricci and Sydney Collins. She was predeceased by her daughter, Judith Ricci.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 10:30 am at St. James Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Art Mollenhauer. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main St., Stratford.
