Obituary: Linda J. Brown, 70, Of Stratford

STRATFORD, CT — (From Adzima Funeral Home): Linda J. Brown, 70, of Stratford, beloved wife of Kevin Brown, passed away on March 29, 2024.

Linda was born in Bridgeport on July 18,1953 to the late Anthony and Veronica (Burke) Tivadar and had been a life-long area resident. She was a graduate of Stratford High School, class of 1971 and received an AS from Housatonic Community College.

Survivors in addition to her beloved husband of 38 years, include her devoted children, Elizabeth Culver and her husband Jason of Manchester, and Kevin Brown Jr. and his wife Jelena of Trumbull, 3 cherished grandchildren, Madison Culver and Marko and Nikola Brown, sisters Marcia Anthony and Cheryl Mercure, and brother Joseph and his wife Patricia, and several nieces and nephews.

Linda worked as a medical laboratory technician for many years. Linda was most known for her love of monarch butterflies, which she raised every summer for over 35 years, and her cats.

The past several years, she found joy in learning about the nature around her, often birdwatching in her own backyard. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memoriam to the CT Humane Society.

Visitation on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.
