STRATFORD, CT — (From Pistey Funeral Home): Mary J. Agagliati, a woman of unwavering faith and incredible courage, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2023, in Stratford, Connecticut after a brave battle with illness. She was born on February 7, 1936, in New York, and her life was marked by dedication, service, and love for her family and community.
Mary was the devoted wife of husband LeRoy for 61 years, and beloved mother to their daughter, Anna and husband Robert Scinto. She also leaves behind her sisters, Kathleen and her husband George Matranga, Patricia and her husband Robert McKeon, and her brother-in-law, Michael Roach, husband of her late sister, Margaret.
For 25 years, Mary served as an Executive Administrator at Sikorsky Aircraft. Her commitment and professionalism left an indelible mark on the company and those who had the pleasure to work with her.

After her retirement, Mary found joy in volunteering at Milford Hospital, where she touched the lives of patients and staff alike with her kindness. Her dedication to others extended into her faith as well, serving as a Eucharist minister at Our Lady of Peace Church in Lordship. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, providing her with strength. In her spare time, Mary was an avid reader and cherished member of her local book club.
Mary was a woman of courage, navigating life's challenges with unwavering strength, determination and resilience. Her life was a testament to her strong character, her commitment to service, and her devotion to her loved ones.
