Obituary: Patricia B. Brideau, 73

Patricia B. Brideau, 73, of Shelton, beloved wife of Manfred “Manny” Brideau, passed away suddenly on December 2, 2017 in Bridgeport Hospital. Pat was born in Derby on February 20, 1944 to the late William and Agnes (Cichanowicz) Hanna and has been a lifelong area resident.

She was a graduate of Stratford High School and was retired from Casual Curtain in Stratford. Pat enjoyed to cook, and loved to entertain and to celebrate the holidays, especially Christmas. She was dedicated to raising her beloved grandchildren.

Survivors in addition to her beloved husband of 54 years, include her devoted children, Brad Brideau and his wife Tameka Britton-Brideau of Virginia, and Beth Cannone of Shelton, her grandchildren, Bryley Brideau, and Carlie, Corey, and Casey Cannone, 2 brothers, William Hanna and his wife Beverly, and Keefe Hanna, a sister, Beth Schulz, sister-in-law, Natasha Hanna, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Pat was pre-deceased by her brothers, Michael and James Hanna. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 7th at 10:30 am meeting directly at Saint James Church, 2070 Main Street Stratford. Interment will be in Mount St. Peter’s Cemetery, Derby. Friends may call Wednesday from 4-7 pm at the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
