Obituary: Patricia J. Washaleski, 79, of Stratford
A person of true kindness and a gentle soul, she never had a discouraging word for anyone and exuded love in its purest form.

Patricia J. Washaleski, 79, of Stratford, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 28, 2018 at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Patricia was born to the late Ambrose and Olga Washaleski on January 11, 1939 in Boston Massachusetts. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchild.
Some of the highlights with her family were attending sporting events, dance recitals, the Beach Club in East Haven, trips to Mohegan Sun and watching the Hallmark channel. Besides being a great mother, she also touched the lives of all that came to know her, and was affectionately known to many as “Auntie Patty.”

She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Washaleski and sister in law, Janice. Survivors include her beloved daughter, Patricia Ann and her devoted husband George Mino and their three children, Paige, Tyler and Aaron and great granddaughter, Ellysia, her beloved son, James Washaleski and his dear Donna, her beloved sister, Barbara Mongillo and her late husband Nicholas Mongillo, who all resided together most of their lives; nephew, Nicholas and wife Jackie, children Lauren and Kellie, nieces, Karen and Robin, along with her children, Kristen and Zackary. Also surviving her are the children of her late brother Thomas, who are Gina, Vincent, Teness, Barbara and Lisa.
