Obituary: Phillip Weisgable, 58, of Stratford

Phillip Weisgable, 58, of Stratford, beloved husband of Carol (Reynolds) Weisgable, died on Monday, August 28, 2017 at St. Vincent Medical Center.Mr. Weisgable was born in Bridgeport to the late Leonard and Stella Weisgable. He graduated from Bullard Havens Technical High School.

Phil had been employed as an inspector at Sikorsky Aircraft for over 15 years. He truly loved his job and all of the people that he worked with. Phil loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing and gardening.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Phillip Weisgable, Jr. and Robert Weisgable of Stratford; and one brother, Leonard Weisgable.

A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:30 at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to SWIM Across the Sound, 2800 Main Street, Bridgeport, CT 06606.
