Obituary: Raymond P. Boychew Sr., 71, Of Stratford

STRATFORD, CT — (From Adzima Funeral Home): Raymond P. Boychew Sr., 71, of Stratford, passed away on February 22, 2024.

Ray was born in Bridgeport on September 26, 1952, to the late Charles and Catherine (Lazuka) Boychew and had been a lifelong area resident.

He was a graduate of Bunnell High School, class of 1970, and was a retired tree cutter for the Town of Stratford.

Survivors include his former wife and best friend, Rose (Shandrowski) Boychew, his devoted children, Raymond P. Boychew Jr and his wife Jhackie of Stratford, Katina Boychew of Florida, cherished grandchildren, McKinley and Madisyn, brother, Stephen Boychew and his wife Lisa of Tennessee, sisters, Mary Householder of Ansonia and Josephine Harrison of Shelton and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation on Thursday, February 29 from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, followed by a graveside service in St. John’s Cemetery, Stratford, officiated by Rev. Dan VanHorne.
