Obituary: Salvatore Joseph Anzini, 90, Of Stratford
Sal left high school and joined the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a retired self-employed carpenter.

STRATFORD, CT — (From Adzima Funeral Home): Salvatore Joseph Anzini, 90, of Stratford, the beloved husband of Beverly Brauer Anzini, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023 in his home.
Born in Bridgeport on May 30, 1933 to the late Joseph V. and Philomena (DeClement) Anzini and has been a lifelong area resident.
Sal left high school and joined the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a retired self-employed carpenter. He loved to go hunting, fishing, and building bird houses, but most of all he was an avid fan of the NY Yankees.

Survivors in addition to his beloved wife of 65 years include a son, David Anzini and his wife Ann of Fort Mills, SC, a daughter Donna Nelson and her husband Craig of Milford, 4 grandchildren, Elise, David Jr., Claudia Anzini, and Angela Powell and her husband Justin, a sister Elaine Davis of Monroe, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Sal was predeceased by a sister, Joanne Poppa.
