Obituary: Shamus Paco Sims,41, Of Stratford

STRATFORD, CT — (From Adzima Funeral Home): An avid bird watcher and Orchid lover - Shamus Paco Sims, 41, from Port Townsend, Seattle has passed away suddenly; in the safe environment of his home in Stratford CT, on February 18, 2023.

He is survived by his beloved wife; Elba Rivera Sims, of 17 years, his adored pets, Gamba, Gage, Gary and Gidget. His mother-in-law, Amelia Torres, seven sisters-in-law, and eight brothers-in-law, his nieces and nephews as well as his mother, Victoria Feitner, father, Ralph James Sims, and four sisters.

Shamus' heart is one without malice, and/or expectations, but one full of kindness, love, tolerance, and patience. Anyone who met him throughout his worldly travels or home stays, gravitated towards his magnetic charisma and smile.

The happy memories that he created with his friends, family, coworkers, and acquaintances will continue to be shared with people they themselves will one day meet.

Everything that he did in life, he did with every ounce of his being. Including being a loyal employee of BCH America Inc., where he was the Director of Logistics. A job he found solace and comfort going to.

This world has lost a true angel, husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He will forever live on in our hearts and wonderful memories.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the privacy of their home.
