Obituary: Shirley Mae Piccirillo, 88, Of Stratford

STRATFORD, CT — (From Adzima Funeral Home): Shirley Mae Piccirillo, 88, of Stratford, the beloved widow of John A. Piccirillo, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Bridgeport Hospital with her family by her side.

Born in Bridgeport on November 1, 1934 to the late Andrew and Helen (Kupec) Gadus, she has been a lifelong Stratford resident.

Shirley graduated from Stratford High School and was a retired secretary for the Town of Stratford Planning and Zoning department.

Survivors include her devoted children, John Piccirillo and his wife Jennifer of Stratford, Robert Piccirillo and his wife Phyllis of Middleborough, MA and Michael “Drew” Piccirillo and his wife Glenda of Norwalk, her cherished grandchildren, Rebecca Griffith and her husband Jason, Stephanie Lupica and Nicholas Piccirillo and a great grandson, Alexander Griffith. She is also survived by her brother, Ronald Gadus of Rensselaer, NY, and several nieces and nephews.
