Obituary: Steven C. Koutrakos Sr., 88; Former Stratford Resident

Steven C. Koutrakos, Sr., 88, of Hebron, N.Y. and formerly of Stratford and Bridgeport, husband of the late Elaine Locke Koutrakos, passed away at home on August 27, 2017.

Steven was born in Kalamata, Greece to the late Charles and Wanda Koutrakos. He was a retired inspector for Sikorsky Aircraft. He enjoyed hunting, garage sales and in his retirement, raising beef cows.

Survivors include his beloved children; Frank Koutrakos of Stratford, Nancy Koutrakos of Stratford, Nick Koutrakos and his wife Rose of New York, and daughter-in-law Joann of Shelton; his grandchildren Melissa, Steven III, Andrew, Elaine, Nicholas, and Anastasia; his great-grandchildren Caleb and Kloie; two brothers, Charles Koutrakos and his wife Marilyn, and Nick Koutrakos and Alice; several nieces and nephews. Steven was predeceased by two sons, Steven, Jr. and James Koutrakos; brothers Peter and Michael, and sister, Stella Maganas.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 11am at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 4070 Park Ave., Bridgeport. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.
