Oils Highlight Library Art Exhibit
Paintings by Don Henault on display through February

“Paintings by Don Henault”, a collection of original oil paintings by the Stratford artist, is the current art exhibit through February 2015 at the Stratford Library. It will be the third library showing for the artist who last exhibited in early 2013. The showing is free and open to the public and one of dozens of art exhibits offered on an annual basis at the library.
Don Henault is an award-winning artist who has worked in oils since 1993. He has original paintings in private collections throughout New England and currently works out of his studio in Stratford. Henault has also taught painting and is available for private instruction. He is on the staff of the Square One Theatre Company as resident sound designer and has also created original paintings for their sets when needed. For the current exhibit Henault has also included two works by his granddaughter, Rylee Henault, a fifth grader at Franklin Elementary School in Stratford.
Viewing hours for “Paintings by Don Henault” are Monday-Thursday: 10-8, Friday & Saturday: 10-5 and Sunday: 1-5 pm. The art exhibit will continue through February 28th and is located in the Main Lobby of the Stratford Library, 2203 Main Street.
