One Of America's Coolest Pet Stores Is In Stratford

STRATFORD, CT — A Stratford business was recently named among the nation's coolest pet shops. Wag Central received second place in Pets+ Magazine's "America's Coolest Stores 2019" contest.

Wag Central is operated by Angela Pantalone and opened in 2017, according to the magazine. The business offers training, boarding, day care, a dog cafe and pet supplies.

"Chic and modern, Wag Central’s cohesive brand touches everything and everyone they come into contact with," one judge said in the magazine. "There’s no way a pet parent could doubt this team’s professionalism and doggy-spoiling expertise as soon as they walk in the door."

Wag Central is located at 80 Hathaway Drive.
