Parents Place Serves Home Care Providers

Family, Friends and Neighbors program offers services to caregivers providing daily care of children in their homes.

Stratford Parent’s Place has announced that the United Way of Coastal Fairfield County continues to provide funding for the Family, Friends, and Neighbors program. Many Stratford children birth through preschool are in the daily care of family, friends and neighbors in their homes. The Family, Friends and Neighbors program offers many services including a lending library of learning bags, ongoing support and outreach to providers, a home visiting program focusing on child development, and a quarterly café night for child care providers to network and share information.

Stratford Parents’ Place, a family resource center located at Stratford Academy/ Johnson House, 719 Birdseye Street, is a program of the Stratford Public School. All programs and services are for Stratford residents.
