Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Vehicle In Stratford: Police
The woman was crossing the street when she was struck, police said.

STRATFORD, CT — A 64-year-old woman died from injuries sustained after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street in Stratford on Tuesday, according to police.

The accident occurred on Longbrook Avenue near Paterson Avenue, according to Capt. Frank Eannotti.

Eannotti said the pedestrian was crossing the roadway when she was struck. She was transported to Bridgeport Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
Eannotti said the scene is still under investigation to determine the cause and any possible charges.
