Stratford, CT - Saturday was the final performance of The Tempest by Hudson Shakespeare Company. The company traveled from New Jersey to perform <a href="https://www.stratfordstar.com/82142/hudson-shakespeare-company-to-perform-tempest-june-30/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">at 2pm at the Stratford Library</a> outside in the courtyard. A nice breeze made the high temperature bearable as the actors brought to life one of Shakespeare's classics. Directed by Jon Ciccarelli Movement Direction by Noelle Fair Hudson Shakespeare Company is a regional touring Shakespeare festival that presents Shakespeare titles, modern productions and educational programs. On Saturday, May 30, 2026, acclaimed tribute artist Lamar Peters will electrify the stage at St. Theresa School Trumbull with his unforgettable Ultimate Elvis Tribute Show. Showtime begins at 7:00 PM (doors open at 6:00 PM) for an evening packed with hits, dazzling showmanship, and the timeless magic of Elvis Presley.
This one-night-only performance will transport audiences through the golden eras of Elvis—from the rockabilly roots of the '50s to the Vegas glitz of the '70s. Expect to hear fan favorites like “Jailhouse Rock,” “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” “Suspicious Minds,” and “Burning Love”—all delivered with the uncanny vocals and magnetic presence that have made Peters a standout in the tribute world.
