Police Charge Stratford Man with Possession of Child Pornography

The man was arrested by investigators from the Stratford Police Youth Bureau.

With the assistance of investigators in Sacramento, California and the FBI Human Tracking Task Force, Stratford police have charged a town man with possession of child pornography after serving a search warrant of his home.

Investigators from the Stratford Police Youth Bureau arrested John Naughright, 36, on March 21 for possession of child pornography, Lt. Frank Eannotti said in a press release.

The arrest came after investigators served a search warrant at Naughright’s home and he was taken into custody Saturday at his place of employment in New Haven by the investigating officers.

Eannotti said the search warrant and arrest are the result of information Stratford officers gained while working with investigators in Sacramento California and the FBI Human Trafficking Task force.

Eannotti had no further information to release on this case at this time.

Naughright is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Court on April 2.
