Popular Stratford Deli Stays in Town with New Home

STRATFORD, CT — Just because the owners of Gaetano’s Deli were looking for a new home, doesn’t mean they ever had any intention of leaving Stratford.

The Connecticut Post reports that owners Milanno Ukehaxhaj and Gaetano Catalano have found a new location at 1478 Barnum Avenue that suits their needs as they expand their prepared food offerings and offers more parking.

The owners told the Post that leaving their home of 20 years on Main Street is bittersweet but that staying in Stratford was important to them.

The new location is expected to open by the end of the month, according to the Post.
