Report: Fisherman Tries to Swim Away from Stratford Police, Fails
Police wanted to question the man about the large bag of striped bass he was carrying.

A New York man who was out fishing Thursday tried to swim away from Stratford police when they attempted to question him about a large bag of striped bass he was carrying, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports Pedro Albrinco, 43, jumped into the Housatonic River in an attempted getaway but soon realized he wouldn’t be able to make it across the river and came back to where police were waiting for him.
Albrinco was issued a summons for possession of striped bass under the legal limit, according to the Post.
