Residents Reminded Of Final Weekend To Pay 2022 Taxes In Stratford

STRATFORD, CT — As the 2022 tax payment season comes to a close, Stratford Mayor Laura Hoydick shared Tuesday several ways that residents can still file their payments on time.

The last day to pay without interest is Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023.

CONTACTLESS PAYMENT OPTIONS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED

Online payment options are available at stratfordct.gov.

A fee of 2.95 percent is charged by Invoice Cloud for the convenience of paying online by credit or debit card and $0.95 for an electronic check payment.

There is a dropbox available for those paying by Check ONLY.

Include a copy of each tax bill being paid and place in a sealed envelope. The dropbox is located in the Town Hall (2725 Main Street, Stratford, CT) outside of the Tax Collector’s Office.

In-person payments can be made Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Tax Collector’s Office, located at Town Hall (2725 Main Street, Stratford, CT.) The Tax Collector’s Office will also open Saturday, Jan. 28 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon to accept payments. In-person payments must be made via Cash or Check ONLY.

Additionally, in-person payments can be made at all M&T Bank locations as long as you do not owe Back Taxes and have the original copy of your tax bill, according to officials.
