Road Closure Announced In Stratford

The road closure will be in effect due to an emergency drainage repair, according to officials.

STRATFORD, CT — Officials are advising motorists of a road closure that will be in effect on Tuesday, March 24, in Stratford due to an emergency drainage repair.

The closure will require a detour that will last one day on Route 110 River Road between Meadow Mere Road and Main Street and River Road, according to Mayor David Chess.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation will detour traffic onto Main Street-Putney from the intersection of River Road and Meadow Mere Road, and from Main Street and River Road onto Main Street-Putney, according to Chess.

The photos below show the location for the detour and temporary signage will be placed with flaggers at each station for the traveling public, according to Chess.
