Road Remains Closed After Water Main Break In Stratford

Crews have been working to repair two water main breaks in Stratford.

STRATFORD, CT — Huntington Road is expected to remain closed through Wednesday for repairs from Tuesday’s water main break, officials said in an update.

According to an update from Aquarion, Beaver Dam Road was being paved on Wednesday afternoon.

“Huntington road paving prep continued last night but was stopped early this morning when the pipe had to be removed and repaired, and they reached the area of the break,” according to a post on the town’s Facebook page. “Restoration will commence once the pipe repair is complete and the hole is backfilled. The road will likely remain closed for at least today.
