School Bus Driver Arrested On Child Porn Charge: Stratford Police
The bus driver was arrested following an investigation that began in February, according to Stratford Police.

STRATFORD, CT — A school bus driver from Stratford was arrested after authorities found a “large number” of images of child pornography on his laptop computer, according to police. Stratford Police launched an investigation after receiving a child pornography complaint from the National Center for Missing Exploited Children in February, according to Capt. Frank Eannotti.
The investigation led to John Kenneth Stone, 76, being identified as the suspect and police executed a search warrant at his home in Stratford. Police seized a laptop computer during the search.
“A forensic analysis of the computer located a large number of images and videos identified as child pornography,” Eannotti said in a news release.

Stone, who is employed as a school bus driver with Durham Bus Services, was arrested on May 23 and charged with first-degree possession of child pornography. He posted a $250,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on May 31.
