Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Vehicle In Stratford: Report

STRATFORD, CT — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car Monday night in Stratford, according to multiple reports, including WFSB 3.

WFSB 3 reports the crash happened around 7:15 p.m. on Main Street near Garden Street.

A woman was taken to the hospital, where she died from her injuries, according to WFSB.

Her identity wasn’t being released, and police were investigating late Monday night.

Fire officials reported earlier in the evening that Main Street was closed between North Avenue and Freeman Avenue due to a serious motor vehicle crash.
