STRATFORD, CT — Mayor Laura Hoydick is advising motorists to take note of several areas in Stratford that are experiencing flooding. Due to heavy rainfall combined with tidal activity, flooding has been reported at Surf Avenue, the Seawall, Birdseye Dock, Main Street by Sikorsky Airport and Short Beach, according to Hoydick.

“Motorists should avoid these areas, and those with travel plans should take note,” Hoydick said in a post on Facebook.
