Sex Offender Charged With Rape Of Stratford 12-Year-Old

STRATFORD, CT — A convicted sex offender is charged with raping a 12-year-old girl in Stratford, according to the Connecticut Post. Reginald Sharp, 34, appeared in court Wednesday, where he was ordered held in lieu of $2 million bond, the Post reports. Sharp is charged with sexual assault, enticing a minor and risk of injury to a child after the incident Tuesday, according to the Post, which reports Sharp met the girl through Snapchat.
