Police also arrested Eric Chambers, 33, of Bridgeport, earlier this week in connection to robbery. He was charged with first-degree robbery and held on a $250,000 bond.

Brown was recently arrested by Bridgeport Police after he exchanged gunfire with an officer following the robbery of a shoe store in the city, according to reports. The Connecticut Post previously reported that the suspect in that incident could be connected to the shooting in Stratford.

Brown is accused of stealing $1,900 in cash during the armed robbery of EbLens in Bridgeport in which police say he grabbed a female employee and dragged her by the hair while holding her at gunpoint, according to NBC.

A GoFundMe page was recently launched in support of Woodard, who was scheduled to undergo a third surgery after the shooting at BAR.
