Sikorsky Employees Face Layoffs: Report

Stratford, CT — Sikorsky Aircraft’s parent company, Lockheed Martin, announced on Wednesday that it is laying off 350 workers from its Mission System and Training division, which Sikorsky is a part of, according to multiple reports.

However, no Connecticut employees were part of Wednesday’s layoffs, according to the New Haven Register.

Luther Turmelle of the Register reports that an unspecified number of Sikorsky employees will be laid off by the end of August as Lockheed Martin continues a “thorough analysis of the Sikorsky business.”
