Sikorsky Parent Company Plans To Cut 800 Jobs: Report
Lockheed Martin, the parent company of Stratford-based Sikorsky, is planning to cut 800 jobs in one of its divisions, according to a report.

STRATFORD, CT — Stratford-based Sikorsky’s parent company, Lockheed Martin, is planning to cut 800 jobs in its rotary and mission systems division, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports the division includes Sikorsky, but the impact on its Connecticut operations wasn’t immediately known.
Officials told the Post the cuts are expected to be accomplished through a mix of transfers, attrition, and a “limited number” of job cuts.
