STRATFORD, CT — Stratford-based Sikorsky is planning on laying off nearly 180 employees in Connecticut, according to multiple reports.
WTNH News 8 reports Sikorsky will be laying off 179 employees within its business segment.
A Sikorsky spokesperson said several major programs are progressing into production and won’t need the same level of support, according to WTNH.
