Speed, Red Light Cameras Approved In Stratford: Report
The Stratford Town Council has approved the use of new traffic enforcement cameras to fine speeding drivers and red-light runners.
STRATFORD, CT — The Stratford Town Council this week unanimously approved a new ordinance that allows officials to use new traffic safety cameras to fine speeding drivers and red-light runners, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports the cameras will initially be installed in school safety zones.
Other sites identified by the police department for future cameras include busy intersections at Barnum Avenue and Main Street, and Main Street and Warner Hill Road, according to the Post.
