Judging for the fair took place over the course of two weeks and students had to present their project during virtual interviews.

The middle school students qualified for entry into the statewide fair by placing in the top three in the annual St. Mark School science fair, coordinated by Middle School Science Teacher, Alexander Kennedy.

“It is inspiring to see our students identify a problem, formulate a hypothesis and then follow the scientific method to prove a theory,” shared Kennedy. “This type of hands-on learning is essential to encouraging our young people to seek careers in science and engineering fields while developing critical thinking and public speaking skills."

St. Mark School is a 2009 Nationally Recognized Blue Ribbon School of Academic Excellence and a New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) accredited school, serving students in Pre-K through Grade 8.
