NORWALK, CT — A Stratford man accused of stealing a car from Maine and traveling with a juvenile in the vehicle was arrested in Norwalk over the weekend, according to police.
In an email, Police Sgt. Sofia Gulino said officers were told Saturday around 6:30 p.m. to look out for a car stolen from Maine with New Hampshire license plates seen several hours earlier near the South Norwalk Train Station. They were also told a missing juvenile should be in the vehicle.
Officer later noticed the car driving along Water Street and surrounded it, initiating a stop, Gulino said.

Police removed Anthony Molina-Vallejo, 24, of Stratford, from the car and arrested him after he was found to have active warrants for his arrest, Gulino said. A juvenile found in the vehicle was also removed and detained.
Both Molina-Vallejo and the juvenile initially provided officers with alias names. Police contacted the juvenile's parent, who would respond from Maine to take custody of the child, Gulino said.
