"Mike Valentine’s Fine Art” is the June art exhibit at the Stratford Library. Original acrylics and watercolor paintings by the Stratford artist will on display throughout the month. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
A full-time caricaturist and illustrator, Mike Valentine has been drawing professionally since 1975. A published cartoonist, his work has appeared in a great variety of newspapers, magazines and comic books and he has also done illustration, advertising art and editorial cartooning. Valentine hosts his own cable TV show, “How to Cartoon”, and teaches cartooning classes in eight area schools. A drawing and painting instructor and a widely exhibited painter, Valentine is a member of the Fairfield County Arts Association and the Easton Arts council.
