Stratford - Bunnell The Only Game in Town this Thanksgiving Day

Tickets for the annual Thanksgiving Day Football game between Stratford High School and Bunnell High School are on sale via https://gofan.co/app/school/CT20042. It is the only game in town this Thanksgiving morning. This year it is being played at Penders Field in Longbrook Park.

The clash is sure to bring out the best in both teams and also on hand will be a who’s who in Stratford from years gone by as a strong turnout is expected.

Game time is 10:00 am. Many memories and stories are guaranteed to be shared all day long.

At stake is the Manning Harvey Award given to the winner who is declared the Town of Stratford High School Football Champion. Manning Harvey was an educator and legendary coach in the Stratford Board of Education for many years.

Cash transactions at the gate will cost $10.00 for students and $15.00 for adults.

Bunnell enters the game with a record of 5 wins against 4 losses on the season

Stratford enters the game with a record of 3 wins against 6 losses on the season.

In head to head games against each other throughout the years Bunnell leads the rivalry with 41 wins against 22 losses.

Thursday, November 24 - 10:00 a.m. @ Penders Field (Gates open at 8:45 a.m)

Tickets may be purchased online from the link below for a reduced rate of $5 for students & senior citizens and $10 for adults. (It will be $10 and $15 for cash transactions at the gate)

Screen shots and ticket print outs will not be accepted for either game; mobile redemption must
be used for entry on game day.

Backpacks and noise makers will not be allowed into either sports complex.

Please note that All-Sports/All-Season passes are not permitted for entry into the Thanksgiving Day Football game.
