Stratford Car Crash Leads to Arrest of Suspected Serial Coin Thief
Police say the Milford man had a large amount of quarters in his car and was later found to allegedly be in the possession of heroin.

A Milford man involved in a car crash in Stratford has been linked to a string of vending machine thefts, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports that was just the beginning of problems for Jayson Rotz, 25, who was later found to have four plastic folds in his wallet that allegedly contained heroin while he was at police headquarters.
Rotz, of Locust Street, Milford, was involved in an accident on West Broad Street on Wednesday and responding officers saw him rummaging through the car when they arrived and a large quantity of quarters was found during a search, according to the Connecticut Post.
