Stratford Cheer Teams Heading To Disney World

STRATFORD, CT — The Stratford Redskins Pop Warner Cheer teams participated in the recent Pop Warner New England Regional Championship competition in Springfield, Mass.

The Pee Wee cheer team took home the regional championship, finishing first in the Medium Level 2 division. The cheer squad includes Elise Anka, Emily Cook, Anne Marie Field, Latifa Karim, Jadamonet Mackie, Kaylee Martin, Bella Meneo, Sydney Niemiec, Isabella Rodia, Jaleah Rowell, Chloe Samson, Madeline Uberti, Skye Wellington, Tah’jae Williams, and Adrianna Zrallack.

The Junior Varsity cheer team finished second in the region at Medium Level 3 division. The cheer squad includes Cassie Auten, Marissa Curcio, Kaylia DeJesus, Rebecca deSouza, Sanaa Jerry, Krystal Johnson, Mariah Joyner, Julia Karwacki, Rane Morrissey, Taylor Niemiec, Maylia Patto, Makayla Pemberton, Alyssa Ranocchia, Nazareth Redzep, Taylor Rosa, Katie Sullivan, and Tamerah Taylor.

The Pee Wee and Junior Varsity teams will be representing Stratford and the New England region at the Pop Warner National Championships at Disney’s Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Fla., during the first week of December.
