Stratford Citizens Police Academy Starts Soon: Here’s What To Know

STRATFORD, CT — The Stratford Police Department’s 2026 Citizens Police Academy will run for 11 weeks beginning later this month.

The program will run on Thursday evenings from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. starting Feb. 26 through May 7.

“The Citizen’s Police Academy is a program that provides Stratford residents with a first hand overview of the law enforcement and community related functions of the Stratford Police Department,” according to a post on the Stratford PAL’s Facebook page. “Instructors for the program will be Stratford Police Officers and our department staff. There is no fee for the 11-week program.”
